Oral Presentation: Curriculum Design and Review | Using NBME CAS testing to identify curriculum gaps and redundancies during curriculum reform

Using utilization-focused evaluation theory and methods, an assessment task force composed of course directors used NBME Customized Assessment System (CAS) in addition to internal exams as a tool to evaluate curriculum revision. This approach led to changes to enhance curricular content and educational methods used in the preclerkship.
