Distinction in Medical Research Program provides additional research training/projects suitable for student engagement. Based on exit survey, we found strong reports of perceived knowledge, skill, and self-efficacy to complete research, and intention to conduct future research, positive student perceptions of program components/research activities, the mentor/mentee relationship, and program implementation processes.
