Emerging technology facilitates the use of predictive analytic models that “forecast” learning outcomes and foster awareness, reflection, and new insights in learners. Concerns exist about mis-labeling and de-motivating learners. This interactive session explores perspectives about the benefits/risks and advances collective thinking about the 5Ws of using predictive learning analytics.
