Oral Presentation: Power of Peers | What Do M1s Want to Talk About? Facilitating Near-Peer Mentorship Programs

The MedMentors program provides near-peer mentorship for an M1cohort. The program has many touch points, but a key outcome is the positive impact of 1-1 “coffee chats.” IRB-approved qualitative data shows that M1s see value in unstructured peer mentor connections, often seeking advice on stigmatized and non-academic topics.
