Effective collaboration is essential for fostering innovation and creating impactful scholarship. Grounded in social learning theory, this workshop will provide insights and practical guidance for developing and sustaining research collaborations. Using the SGEA Faculty Development SIG as a case study, we will highlight successful outcomes, including numerous published papers and conference proposals that emerged from our collaborative efforts. Participants will leave with a clear roadmap for creating a community of practice focused on education research/scholarship, alongside practical tools for enhancing collaboration.
